Hello Ladies... Has anyone done the battery of tests that determine your biological age? I checked for mine February of this year and it revealed that my body is a year and a half younger than my actual age. Yay! Lol I'm due for another I think... so much has happened between now and then. Whenever you get the chance to, have fun with it.

I think it does have a bit of an effect when spam is specifically crafted with you in mind. Hahahahaha. So... some say that there are rainmakers who are able to manipulate the rain. Some also say that they have been at work in Lagos. Lol. Well... that's the explanation to my quesyion on why it hasn't rained in a month and a half. Today, it drizzled. Lol. I expected a lot more to be honest but it only drizzled. The truth is that when it comes to these things, i simply listen and laugh it off -not because I don't think it is possible but more because I just find it a bit of a ridiculous tale. Well... the sayers have said that the rain is being held by those who have certain construction projects underway e.g. the 3rd mainland bridge maintenance team. Lool. You didn't get that from me... Whatever the reason is for why it has been a dry 6 weeks, well, I'll simply say August break was true to itself this year. Selah. Lol

Now, this is work. It is a whole lot of work to be consistent at this. During the lockdown, it was easy and it was fun. I stuck to my daily ritual and hardly ever missed a day of exercise. But these days.... *sighs* Well, the good part is that I am back on track. Started last week and I've not missed a day (yet). Lol. I think your 30s are an interesting period. It is the period your body just goes on to do its own thing e.g. adding weight at will. Hahahaha. I wonder why it is called middle age. Lol. Shouldn't middle age be 40s or 50s and perhaps 20s for Nigerians (who live in the cities). Lol.

Boseman has battled colon cancer since 2016 and died at home with his family and wife by his side, according to a statement posted on his Twitter account. He was 43. I'm an ardent follower of the Oprah book club and I read a comment that got to me and evoked deeper thought. It was a statement by KingJames - "The" Lebron James. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEaXsKYn6Fz/?igshid=1dvp5sa6db5i2 Initially, I wondered why he would make such a statement which reveals serious insecurities and the need to be accepted when he can own his own heritage and story. Then on further thought, I started to have an issue with the term African-American. Africa isn't a country I thought to myself. Why would a group of people even want to identify with a term that seeks to muddle them up into a single category when they have come from various places... These issues are very deep and as I try to understand the different layers of it, I realise that I cannot get beyond the surface. It is heartbreaking that a Lebron -whose voice represents that of several millions will feel this way. True freedom is always found within. No one holds you captive but you.

Lool . Now this is plain mischief. I'm feeling so sleep as I type this. I have been fighting off sleep for 3hours now. I also just finished some 56 minutes of exercising (walking) and I was almost dosing off as I walked. Lol. Believe it or not. I'm not sure if my audiobook was making it worse. Oh well... Anyways, back to the topic. I must be the only person left still using the 3G 😕🙈. The thing is that my main line is on 4G but I get free credit on the other one which is 3G. So 3G it is. It is painfully slow and frustrating but I hate filling forms 😶. As a matter of fact, I stood up and left when I was handed a form at the MTN office for the upgrade. I had gone to the centre early enough to avoid a crowd and being the only customer in the store, I still couldn't go through with it. I told the lady "Naaah.... I can't do this". Lol. I'm sure she was weak. Don't be so quick to judge, the form was A4 sized and had lots of fields. Sighs.... I would have been on 4G if only she had volunteered to delight the customer (aka me) and fill my form for me 😕😐 What's the point of upgrading to 4G when there are already talks about 5G. I'll join pastor Chris' church so that I can get all the updates I need about it before it hits the market ☻ Sweet dreams world.... lol

So today, a bank went up in flames. Okay okay.... that was for effect. Part of the bank was engulfed by fire. Something about the generator house and a tanker discharging fuel at the bank... As I heard of the tale, guess where my mind went? Nopes, you can't guess even if you tried. Lol. I imagined a young lady from the crowd seizing the opportunity to dispose off of her sanitary towel. Thinking no one was watching, she wrapped it and tossed it upnin the air and directed at the flames but unfortunately for her, mid-air, the sanitary pad comes loose, spreads its wings and comes swaying down from the sky and lands in the middle of the road while everyone watched and shifted their gaze to her. Ooops! Hahahahahaha. Guess what she did? Nopes! You're wrong again. She sits on the floor, opens her cooler of eba and banga and then starts to eat and cry at the same time ☻🙃 PS - this is all made up except for the fire situation. Lol.

Is it just me or do you do it as well? I was going through my Youtube feeds and as I scrolled along, I came across this video with an interesting caption. Gist about the first black woman to win an oscar who wasn't treated right etc... First, of course, I skip the ads on 3. Lol. Then the video started with a statement about how she was celebrated amidst segregation etc... 1 second later, the narrator starts to digress to her origin, where she was born... mehn... I thought out loud "not today! You're not going to waste my time" and then I closed the video and came right here. Looool. With the sort of day I had today, there's no way I'm going to allow myseld be tricked into watching a 15 minute long history class when all I wanted was quick gossip. Lol. Tell me you do it too 😏 lol.

Lol. I'm presently holding evening vocabulary classes for kids under the age of 2 and he is loving it! Yes, just one pupil for now. Lol ☻ There's something ever so pure and delightful about babies. Do you like kids? From what ages? Lol.

Lol. I've had one too many instances of this happen and for several reasons. On one ocassion, the reader says that my card was blocked and as I stood on the line with my N700 moi moi (2 packs) stunned and very hungry, I recall having very bad thoughts about how I was going to go off at the guys at the bank. To cut the short story even shorter, the lady behind me (who I knew from nowhere) paid for my meal. I was thankful, humbled and quite shy. Lol. Awwwwh.... it pays to do good o... Lol. At the bank, I was told that my recent request for a new card when the previous hadn't expired caused the system to automatically cancel the existing 😶😐 lol. Got any awkward card failure tales? I'll share another below lol

Okay... I'm not sure if this is a phase but I totally doubt it. I've been on this path for a couple of years now. Preferring made in Nigeria or Africa to those of the rest of the world. Now, I am considering taking things a step further by being a traditionalist. You know, going back to the roots and embracing the very essence of our spiritualism before we were brainwashed by the west. It's still a thought for now but I love the idea of it especially as I do not identify with any religion -(no future plans to). We were a people and had a culture and a system that worked before the invasion and its denigration and relegation. ...and if you are thinking these modern religions are "the only way", then think again.... those sort of thoughts are proof of the traces of the inferiority brought about by colonialism.

Each time I recall the memory of what I'm about to share, I make the face you will make after reading this post. Lool. Moral of the story: Don't eat right out of a kid's plate. Lol. Okay, so, I decided to take my nephew out on a treat. He loves loves hotdogs. Being his favourite aunt in the world, we go watch a movie and afterwards, we had some ice cream and then I buy him a hotdog. Lol. (Which was after the popcorn he had in the hall.) As we drove back home, I noticed that the kid was making a mess on the back seat and more importantly, he was wasting my money! For some reason, he just wasn't eating the bread and kept tossing bits and pieces of it to the sides. My eyes (using the rare view mirror) couldn't take anymore of this wastage so, I asked him if I could have the bread he wasn't interesred in eating.... hmmmm... that's how I took my eyes off the wheel for a second and quickly scraped some of the bread off his disposable plate and tossed it right into my mouth. To cut the long stort short my people, the bread was soaking wet and soggy! What the kid was doing was to lick off all that mustard and ketchup off the bread and dump the rest 🤢 I was speechless, I was driving and so I couldn't spit it out. I quickly swallowed all of it. Lol. I made the face you are making right now till we got home. Hahahahahaha. I make that face each time I recall my experience! Yack. Lol. Got any baby tales? Lol. Share yours...

Lol. It's weird that I've gotten into this habit of napping right after I eat. Napping so hard that I force myself to wake up... and I do the whole staggering as I get my body off the bed thing. Lol. It's usually a cute feeling till I start to feel super full and I am able to taste some of that undigested fluid that finds its way up my throat. 😬 Today is no different. Lol. I have just woken up and I'm feeling like my tummy has been pumped full with fufuyi. Hahahahaha. I wonder how many more days of consistently eating and napping before I blow out of proportion. Lol
