    Cinemas

I was wondering about this the other day and wondered if people would go to the movies in a hurry -once restrictions are lifted. I've never been a cinema girl and so their re-opening changes nothing for me. What about you? Would you go see a movie in a hurry?

One Word for the Year 2020

If you were to qualify the year 2020 in one word, what will yours be?
  3. Would you ever or have you ever hired a lesbian escort/sex worker? What are you opinions?
  4. The man invited a lady out and she came with a committee. He just paid his own bill and abandoned them. What will you do if it were you?

    The Blue Ticks

Hi Girls... So! Lol. On whatsapp and several others, there is a mechanism that allows readers know if their messages have been read or not. Some deactivate this feature. What is your preference and why.

    She's Funny

Loooool. I stumbled on this lady's videos on youtube and now, each time I see another episode on my feeds, I watch it. Lol. Her name is Iveoma. Perhaps you've heard about her as well. You must totally check out her ibeju-lekki video as well and the Nigerian men one too. I laughed some and laughed some more. Lool. She's a good story teller for sure!

    Unsatisfied Cravings

You know the feeling of craving something, finally having it and it not satisfying your taste buds? It's an annoying feeling. Yup Well.... just finished my meal off with sneakers and ribena because 'main food' didn't achieve its purpose. Lol. Now I'm very full and upset that I am very full. Hahahahaha. Oh well... tomorrow is another day.

    Cartoons

For a while now, I've found cartoons easier on the mind -as they should be. I've finished watching Carebears and Cousins. Lol. A number of 7+ and the list goes on. Adult tv seems a little bit much for me right now. I end my day with a few episodes. Lol. It helps.. Try it some time.

If you had a choice between either travelling into the past or going into the future, which would it be? There is also an option of staying put in the present.

    Overactive Imagination

So today, a bank went up in flames. Okay okay.... that was for effect. Part of the bank was engulfed by fire. Something about the generator house and a tanker discharging fuel at the bank... As I heard of the tale, guess where my mind went? Nopes, you can't guess even if you tried. Lol. I imagined a young lady from the crowd seizing the opportunity to dispose off of her sanitary towel. Thinking no one was watching, she wrapped it and tossed it upnin the air and directed at the flames but unfortunately for her, mid-air, the sanitary pad comes loose, spreads its wings and comes swaying down from the sky and lands in the middle of the road while everyone watched and shifted their gaze to her. Ooops! Hahahahahaha. Guess what she did? Nopes! You're wrong again. She sits on the floor, opens her cooler of eba and banga and then starts to eat and cry at the same time ☻🙃 PS - this is all made up except for the fire situation. Lol.

What Does It Even Mean! Lol

When your female customers or vendors call you to tell you that they miss you, what does it even mean?! Please o... looool. Perhaps it's nothing and I'm simply overthinking it. It isn't the first time this is happening. She probably has a gaydar. Lol. It's 2020, no one is innocent anymore (we all matured at the same time. Lol). No one just says things without a motive anymore. 😏🤓😐
  14. Hello Ladies... Has anyone done the battery of tests that determine your biological age? I checked for mine February of this year and it revealed that my body is a year and a half younger than my actual age. Yay! Lol I'm due for another I think... so much has happened between now and then. Whenever you get the chance to, have fun with it.

    Self Defense

Hello Ladies, Danger is real. Lol. Do you have or have you considered getting a taser or a pepper spray? You know... 'get them before they get you' strategy 😬☻ Lol. The ember months are here and the IG of Police has advised caution etc... We certainly do not hope that anyone of us falls prey. Stay safe ladies. COVID Safe and Crime Safe. PS - Remember that the face of crime is no longer male only. Sadly, women are just as dangerous.

    Women Crying in the Office

Women crying in the office annoys me. Lol. It's manipulative, attention seeking and absolutely uncalled for. I don't quite like it when women present themselves in that light; thereby reducing their chances of being considered as emotionally balanced for certain roles. Why the tears though and must it be done in public if at all? Cry when you get home for crying out loud. Lol I honestly feel that young girls need to learn this early enough. You would be judged and ranked below your male colleagues on the emotional stability scale when you display waterworks. Sighs...

    6-Pack Abs

Hello Ladies... I just saw some 4 pretty boys on TV with ripped abs! ...and then I thought of you all. It was delightful to behold for some reason What are your thoughts about having 6 packs?

    Ethical BeHoly

Lool. It's a Sunday.... what better way to end the day. Would you subscribe if BeHoly was your thing? There're quite a number of these sites out there. Just the other day, I was wondering if Naija had its own.... wouldn't be such a bad idea to have some local content. Lol.

Do You Know Who I Am?

That question though? I've never really understood if it's meant to be rhetorical or not. Lool. ☻ What are your thoughts about that question? Have you ever had to use it or has it ever been used at you?
  21. I met my future fiancée, Aisha, at Fourth of July celebration, in 2016. At that time she was residing in Chicago. She was to be here in Atlanta two weeks prior, but due to other circumstances, she had to postpone her trip. Thankfully she hadn’t visited because during that time I had been traveling in California. The universe clearly had things in store for us. Because even on the day we met, I was supposed to have left before she arrived. But my plans got canceled and I ended up staying at the BBQ. Neither of Us Knew What It Was The moment we introduced ourselves, there was a connection. At the time, neither of us knew what it was, but it was definitely something special. She was in a situation when we met, but her heart was already feeling that wasn’t something she was supposed to stay in. As our friendship grew, our hearts grew fonder. Learning that we feel the same way about what love should be and how it should be respected and honored, Aisha took the jump and moved to Atlanta. And we could not be happier. It was clearly the biggest life-changing moment for her, me as well, but she moved her whole life. She had been intending to move to Atlanta long before we met, just not in the manner she did. When we started dating, I knew that this is the woman I was looking my whole life for–the woman I would spend the rest of my life with. The Proposal She’s hard to surprise because we are so open and always know where one another is. So to plan a proposal without her knowing, was a little bit more difficult than I had expected. I wanted to make sure we had a beautiful view and a photographer. (Check out the awesome video below!) I told her we had a holiday party to go to and had to be there at a certain time. On our way to this “holiday party,” I asked that we stop at the Jackson Street Bridge (where I had the photographer set up and where I was proposing) and take selfies with the skyline in the background. She had been upset with me from earlier in the day, but still trusted in going along with the plan. For moments like that, I am so grateful for her and her trust in me. I Knew she Would Say Yes, But… I had never proposed before but was absolutely sure she was going to say YES. So, I didn’t understand why I was so nervous. I would always assume people’s nerves came from whether the person being asked would say yes or not. Clearly, I was mistaken. I think a majority of my nerves came from making sure all went as planned. And it did! I am so grateful for her and so grateful to the universe for bringing us together! This is why I regularly say: “Dear Universe, Thank you!! Love, Me” Source

The Powers That Be or Not?

So... some say that there are rainmakers who are able to manipulate the rain. Some also say that they have been at work in Lagos. Lol. Well... that's the explanation to my quesyion on why it hasn't rained in a month and a half. Today, it drizzled. Lol. I expected a lot more to be honest but it only drizzled. The truth is that when it comes to these things, i simply listen and laugh it off -not because I don't think it is possible but more because I just find it a bit of a ridiculous tale. Well... the sayers have said that the rain is being held by those who have certain construction projects underway e.g. the 3rd mainland bridge maintenance team. Lool. You didn't get that from me... Whatever the reason is for why it has been a dry 6 weeks, well, I'll simply say August break was true to itself this year. Selah. Lol

    Personalized Messages

I think it does have a bit of an effect when spam is specifically crafted with you in mind. Hahahahaha. Maybe not spam but messages in general tend to get a chance of being read when they have been personalized. Moral of this post: to increase your chances of getting someone's attention, go personal! Selah. Lol
  25. Now, this is work. It is a whole lot of work to be consistent at this. During the lockdown, it was easy and it was fun. I stuck to my daily ritual and hardly ever missed a day of exercise. But these days.... *sighs* Well, the good part is that I am back on track. Started last week and I've not missed a day (yet). Lol. I think your 30s are an interesting period. It is the period your body just goes on to do its own thing e.g. adding weight at will. Hahahaha. I wonder why it is called middle age. Lol. Shouldn't middle age be 40s or 50s and perhaps 20s for Nigerians (who live in the cities). Lol.
