Sticks and Stones A knife through the heart On a warm day Will your blood bleed warm? A pain in your chest On a cold day Will your heart freeze over? The words hang like rocks On a chain mail Will they pull you under? If the words are pushed Through a knife in the heart Past your chain mail through your icy chest Will you survive? We: I know it never seemed like I was going to ever love you. I know, time, they say is of essence I know on the day we first saw, I looked at my time and wasn't sure I wanted you.
