Administrators FlyJ Posted July 24, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 24, 2015 Super Falcons’ caretaker coach Christopher Danjuma is hoping Liverpool star Asisat Oshoala will be fit for the team’s Olympic qualifier return leg match in Equatorial Guinea. According to AfricanFootball.com, Liverpool have informed the Nigeria Football Federation that the reigning African Player of the Year is nursing an injury which will sideline her for at least two weeks. “I hope to soon hear from Oshoala if she would be fit for our return leg match in Bata,” Danjuma told AfricanFootball.com. The injury kept Oshoala out of the first leg in Abuja last weekend. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. Pundits believe the African champions missed Oshoala’s services in the game, which the Equatorial Guineans dominated. The overall winners of this clash will advance to the final qualifier for the 2016 Rio Olympics women’s football event. Source
