It helps if there is a uniform and general understanding (or a set of guiding rules) with respect to what constitutes a breach. In as much as we have and utilize our freedom of expression, in consideration to others, it shouldn't be upsetting either. The responses (whatever form they take) just need to be within the context of the said topics. Or atleast, as long as you are able to tie it back into the topic to ensure continuity.
