Uzodinma Iweala, a Nigerian - American award-winning author, and doctor is set to meet with Nigerian President Muhammad Buhari to discuss issues affecting LGBT people in Nigeria. Iweala is the author of two very successful books, ‘Beast of No Nation’, which was adapted as a Hollywood film in 2015 and ‘Speak No Evil’ his recent book which details the life of a brilliant young Nigerian gay man living abroad, and whose conservative Christian parents tries to cure of homosexuality. Recently, Iweala, made public that he will be meeting with the Nigerian president, Muhammad Buhari in late June to discuss issues affecting LGBT Nigerians and wants people to suggest to him, the possible questions he could ask the president.
