    Mad Men on the Streets

Mehn... there's this madness happening on Lagos streets. I've heard of the tale but yesterday, I.saw it happen right in front of me! So what these seemingly mad men (who are only disguised criminals) do is that they typically hold an empty food pack, target "women" or soft targets and then pounce. They would usually brush themselves on your car and throw their food pack to the ground. They would then start to make a fuss about how you threw their food away and then either start trying to break your glass with a stone or simply follow and harrass you till you part with your phone, money or whatever else they demand. They do all of these in either stand-still or very slow moving traffic situations on the expressway. So ladies... please beware and stay safe. I recall bringing out my taser as he followed the car in front of mine. I simply shook my head. Felt really sorry for the woman who managed to give him N1,000. Of course, he made a fuss about the N1,000 shouting "only N1k". The woman simply kept driving and he followed till he got tired. She must have been terrified. Such horror!

    3rd Mainland Bridge Closure

Loool. These are interesting times if you have reason to commute daily to the island from the mainland. Share your experiences here.
