Iris
Haha it's simple. Take a pen and a piece of paper. You can use a serviette. I'm sure everyone knows the 'X and O' game. Also called tic-tac-toe. Now draw the board on the paper and start the game by placing your X anywhere in the squares. Drop the pen and paper and pass it on to her. (You needn't say anything. Just pass the paper!) Before the game gets boring, you would have known her name and interests, at least. Even if she isn't into you, you'd have scored points by making her laugh. And l doubt by making her laugh she wouldn't be curious.

Iris
Or she could be like me and not know how to play tic-tac-toe. Awks By not knowing how to play, you've set the pace for friendly talk cos she'd like to teach you. While you're nodding and shaking your head, you can consider the style with which she speaks: humour, verbosity, analytic etc AND Non-verbal communication: hand gestures, eye contact etc. There are also better games to play like Submarine/Crusader/Battlefield... bla bla like that.
