I know it never seemed like I was going to ever love you.

I know, time, they say is of essence

I know on the day we first saw, I looked at my time and wasn't sure I wanted you.

 

I know also my time was ticking like always.

I know, because of time, I need someone

I know I looked, and there  you were still

I know I worried that I was never going to love you

Then..;

 

I know I wondered your loving wasn't the usual kind of love I've known

 

I know it wasn't filled with the chase and the pain, betrayal and lust like usual

I know I thought these past was how it should be

I know I remembered they say; you' ll never know what love is till its lost

I know I decided to hold on a little longer

I know I thought about the teachers words;

"but love Is kind, is loyal, it waits"

I know I thought your love is kind, loyal, and waiting

Now;

 

I know I've learnt  being different is a gift not a curse

I know you  are different like I am

I know I' ve wondered how you wanted me even though I wasn't sure

I know you've longed for my genuine kisses too long now

 

I know you asked that I hold you truly that one time.

I know I did and it felt like coming home

**

 

Today:

 

I know this today

I know I think I'd like to kiss that way again then again

I know you've said you'll wait for me to fully heal

I know you are my healing

I also know I'm willing to try this nice and kind type of thing
