The Love of a Lighter Skin Tone

The last few days have made me question whether or not creaming up to get a lighter tone comes down to preference or to esteem issues.

I'm sure everyone who has made an effort to get lighter has voted for it being their preference but... if one digs further to the root cause and discovers the why behind the preference, one quickly realizes the depth and layers of interwoven issues that point to a certain dissatisfaction with one's own self image.

Who decides for you what beautiful ought to look like?

It’s a very interesting phenomenon actually.

From regular discussions, a lot of persons got into skin lightening in trying to treat hyperpigmentation, then got addicted to searching for smooth fairer even tone.
