Abystacy
FFK says about 90% of the ground-zero in the terror ridden zone in the north is dorminantly occupied by the Christian folks... Yet the media and press don't mention that sensitive subtle fact in their analysis all in the bid to downplay religious factor in the conscience of our nation! (Emphasis mine) He is factually correct! But the reason why the media or the press is less interested or appear non-chalant is buried in the unconscious but strong historical feeling that North is North, East East West West and South South... We are just different people geographically and demographically dispersed and settled but still pretend to be One People inside a fix called Nigeria. There hasn't been any true signs of oneness which we claim since the first republic... Just a huge bunch of tribal people experimenting and deceiving themselves. We can choose to become a multi-diversed people only on a genuine sovereign national conference or referendum. We can start it now and save our children's children future from this mess for it will continue and worse too unless we be bold to do the right and only bold thing confronting us. A yoruba sees an Igbo as cheat and an Igbo sees a yoruba as cunny and both Igbo and Yoruba see an Housa as aggressive and bloody. This hostility is so deep and buried in our core fabric that even when we know it's there and pretend it away, it still haunt and divide us... There re people who have come to terms with this truth and as such can understand while we are like this as a nation and therefore can possibly start adjusting and being genuine by assimilating and accommodating the differences and mounting over them. But majority of us all are held spell- bound inside this box of abject division and mindset... Even a 5-year old yoruba boy understand build and make living out of this conditioning. Are we ready to take a stand or should we stand on Aburi that never worked!
