Calllaris
Link: http://leadership.ng...y-mother-in-law Pics: http://www.nairaland...n-mother-in-law History was made as Abubakar Sani Bello emerged as the first governor in Nigeria to be sworn-in by his mother In-law, Justice Fati Lami Abubakar, the Chief Judge of Niger State, who is coincidentally the mother of his wife, Dr Amina Bello. The swearing-in recorded further drama when the convoy of the outgone governor, Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu, was stoned by some hoodlums, while shouts of "thief", "ole", "barawo" rend the air, throughout the inaugral ceremony, pre-empting the out going governor from successfully delivering his speech, and prompting security agents to shoot in the air. This is coming on the heels of the declaration by the new governor that he will carry out a forensic audit of the state’s coffers to determine its debt profile and bonds as well as ascertain whether there was transparency in the process of obtaining the loans bequeathed his administration.
