It's nothing but a simple case of an ordinary woman who got tired cheering for women. Some toms futilely think lesbianism is a fad they must follow cos they decorate themselves in masculine clothes and naively think it is what makes them look good and lesbian. The fortunate category of toms who know this independent fact aren't lesbians. They know looks change, sexuality does not.
