So when boxer-father came Knocking in the night, She bared her teeth, Leaving his fear and desire writhing on the white sheets. And when she came- Her sense of independence worsened the weather. Womb-fear, They stamped her with passivity. So they backed her to the ground and forced away her teeth. Thus toothless, she became earth. Averse to blood, to aggression, to masculinity.
