Dipbluesae Posted January 22, 2018 Share Posted January 22, 2018 Most times we are always in a hurry that we forget to be grateful for the things we ought to be grateful for.. Hurry to get through a day without appreciating the fact that we are lucky to be here in the first place; many are dead and gone.. Hurry to get rid of our emotions without knowing that it is a blessing that we can actually feel them as there are some who can't.. Hurry to get to school and/ work without realizing that there are many people who can't do that without depending on someone else.. And then hurry to get back home from School/ work at the end of the day forgetting how upset we'd be if we never get the opportunity to do it at all nor do we appreciate the fact that we had the privilege.. Appreciation matters in our life as it helps to keep us in contentment, to realize what we have and to be thankful for those.. So many people focus on things they don't have, unaware that the grass is not always greener on the other side.. Life is no competition, whose life is better doesn't really matter so we shouldn't beat ourselves into thinking we are worse than we actually are.. Appreciate the life that you have now. Appreciate the changes you are able to make each day and don't hurt yourself for the things you can never change. Be happy with your life and quit comparisons with another's. Learn to live with your head held high and always remember to smile.. Notice how beautiful your life is and know that nothing is worth more, you are beautiful and beautiful people tend to survive!
