Love is a Person With real identity Not an inanimate entity Love is a Verb That speaks the language of sacrifice . Love is not a feeling Nor an emotional rollercoaster That drives you to cloud nine And feed you with some chilling . Love is a giver A thoughtful forgiver Who looks beyond the now Into the distant tomorrow . When Love is present Everyone knows, she glows Her essence is undeniable Her guidance e'er reliable . Love's personality is lost When mistaken for lust Her value is abused When her intents are excused . If she's there, she's ever dear She's never disguised If she's missing She's never maximized . Love has pretty eyes That perceive lies, sees every flaw Yet overlooks with contentment And smile at every ugly past . Love has a beautiful hand That extends to the undeserving Ears that hears the heartbeat Of those in sorrow and pain . She's got a tongue That speaks good of the other Never scandalises, but sings a song That uplifts, causes no disorder She's got a tender heart that pants Bleeds for the grieving, never rants . Love has elegant feet That travel for miles Conquering mysterious feat Yet beaming captivating smiles . Love is not sex, she is not fun Fun breeds sex, Lust, a precursor . Teach me to love Nay, not how to make love . Love reduced to sex And thrills of romance Is lust coated with lies, to its apex A vulture decked with eagle's elegance . Love is a golden wing That rides thru the storm A patient bird that sings E'en when theirs every reason to cry . Love is not talk But walk It's not in the profession But in the possession .
