There are some couples who practice this i.e. they expect their partners to unfriend, block or disassociate themselves with all their friends (friends they've had prior to the commencement of their relationship). There is something quite disturbing about this but for some reason, there is always a way for them to justify their action/request to their partners. No suitable justification whatsoever!!! Most people who insist on this are extremely insecure!!! One of the main traits of a narcissist who wants to have absolute control over you.
