Michelle
What's your preference and why?
Txunamy
Because I have lived on the mainland, and now on the island, its hard for me to choose. But if I am hard-pressed, to pick, its the island over and over again. Not because there is anything special about living on the island(lots of slums here by the way) I just like the vibe I get here when compared to the mainland.

Michelle
@Txunamy I think he's on point. The accessibility of authentic Nigerian food is irrelevant as I'd prefer you prepare my authentic African meals anyway 😘

But, I don't like the fact that he generalized the mainland as being noisy. There are many highbrow areas of the mainland,(one of which i grew up in) that are way more quiet than the island. Like you can literally hear a pin drop. So not all parts of mainland are noisy, in same vein, not all parts of the island are quiet. The ghetto areas aren't quiet. But overall, I really enjoy the peace and quiet I have here in my area. apart from the sound of generators and homeless chickens, 😀 Its very tranquil. And food, yes! If you are not going the route of fine dinning, mainland has more cafeteria. And the best Chinese restaurant I have been to is on the mainland too. I appreciate the fact that your neighbors mind their business...they speak and keep it moving 😀
