Nigerian gay rights activist Bisi Alimi was invited by CNN‘s news correspondent Christiane Amanpour to speak on the issue. Bisi who came out in 2004, revealed how he couldn’t get a job and was threatened. He later moved to the UK for safety. Bisi tells Christiane that religion plays a great part in the signing of the bill.
