Girls, whilst growing up, what book(s) made Reading fun for you? Like when you remember reading it, it'd put a smile on your face.

For me it was..

Montezuma's daughter

Passport of mallam illia

Beggars strike

Gulliver's travels

The drummer boy

Things fall apart

The concubine

Stillborn

Jane Eyre

Pride and prejudice

Animal farm, to mention few..

What's yours?

Jane Eyre

Awwwwh... this just brought a huge smile to my face. Clearly one of my faves.

I read quite a number of Wole Soyinka's novels. I can't seem to remember the titles now.

I also remember 'time changes yesterday'

I'm not great with titles sadly. I remember my parents bought us lots of novels (Nigerian authored). The would buy at evey book lauch or church fair they attended. Hahaha.

Drummer boy was another good one

Oleku too was great! - the Ajani + Asake story

Abe abo too was fantastic -Soyinka I think

I'll feed you with details when it comes to me.

The Joys of Motherhood

Things fall apart ( a sad one)

Eze goes to school and college

Chike and the river

The god's are not to blame

A woman in her prime

She literally suffered for nothing. Being a mother is hard already but being an abandoned one is harder. Alone and forgotten.

Was pathetic
