Animal Farm

Jaguar Nana (I think that's when my inner hoe started to get curious).

Freedom

Lokotown and other stories

Nancy Drew.

I never could sit still without devouring words, it's moulded a huge part of me and excited my little overzealous imagination back then .

Read most of the books authored by Nigerians already listed above simply because I had to read them for school and exams.  However,  on my own I secretly bought and borrowed Mills and Boon, Thrills and Booms,  and there was this particular one by Nigerian author Chris Onyiuke 'Please don't say no' that I read over and over.  It was rated 18 I think but I read it while in junior secondary. (e don tey when I spoil)

In all,  I enjoyed reading Chinua Achebe's Arrow of God, Things fall apart and Ola Rotimi's the gods are not to blame.

P.S. still looking for 'Please don't say no' I would literally give my left arm to get the hard copy

OMG!!! I would give both arms to get 'please don't say no' I read it when I was about 15 or 16.borrowed it from a friend. I read it three times over. That's how much I loved that book.

Aww.. Nice one hippie, you just made me glow on the inside.

If you ever see the book, let me know. ☺
